The bronze fittings are custom sand cast. We carved the stone spacer from local yellow jasper agate with a wood fossil inclusion. Antler and hard wood with leather spacers make up the remainder of the handle. The end cap is flush fit and the tang peened.
The wrought iron jacket on this blade came up in the roots of an old tree stump of family friends. The edge steel in the centre of the blade is good reliable 1084 high carbon steel.
