The Trollkors or “Trolls Cross” is an ancient Scandinavian protective symbol, keeping trolls, unhelpful spirits and bad luck at bay.
Iron is a fantastic protective talisman. Any negative energy or magic will be attracted to the pendant then safely dispelled, protecting the wearer.
The wrought iron for this piece was sourced from a local historic wagon wheel and hand forged by Benjamin using ancient techniques. No power tools, or machining. Traditional hammer finished at the anvil, wire brushed and lightly coated with beeswax to prevent rusting, as was used in medieval times.
Marisa then braided it with waxed braid using slip knots making it easily adjustable in length.
