The handle is made from a beautifully figured piece of spalted sycamore tree from the little property we used to rent on Brooklyn Road in Carterton that was felled. It has been stabilised for added durability.
The steel blade on this integral damascus clipped paring knife is pattern welded from layers of salvaged wrought iron and bandsaw blades with 1084 high carbon steel, hand forged to shape.
