Iron is protective. Any negative energy or magic will be attracted to the iron in the pendant then safely dispelled, protecting the wearer. Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon. It is strongly associated with weapons and armour so works well as a protective talisman.
Hand forged in steel by Benjamin using ancient techniques. No power tools, or machining. Traditional hammer finished at the anvil, wire brushed and lightly coated with beeswax to prevent rusting, as was used in medieval times.
Marisa then braided it with waxed braid using slip knots making it easily adjustable in length.
