Benjamin handcrafted this elegant bushcraft knife using Feather Damascus, meticulously forged from 15N20 and 1084 steels to create its distinctive flowing pattern and superior edge-holding performance.

The handle blends sandcast bronze with shimmering curly redwood sourced from the Wairarapa region. This stabilised redwood comes from a large giant sequoia (Wellingtonia) stump Benjamin acquired in Carterton—likely descended from the impressive late-1800s plantings that have long graced the area—delivering a warm, richly toned grip with outstanding moisture resistance and durability thanks to the thorough stabilisation process.

This truly one-of-a-kind piece is completed with a custom belt sheath handcrafted by Marisa from vegetable-tanned leather. Dyed in a deep ochre-brown, it showcases a hand-embossed Northern Star motif elegantly accented with 24k gold leaf gilding for a refined, heirloom-quality finish.
